Since its establishment in 1952, Ballet Folklórico de Mexico de Amália Hernández has been regarded as the country’s most revered traditional dance company. Bringing together lively movements and formations, colorful costumes, and bright music performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, this unique program celebrates the rich history and vibrant culture of Mexican folklore.
Carlos Miguel Prieto, a longtime collaborator of Ballet Folklórico, leads the ensembles in works by Márquez, Moncayo, Revueltas, and more.
